Capital One, a Fortune 500 company is seeking experienced call center representative to collect on Charged Off debt.Ideal candidate must demonstrate personal initiative in an effort to achieve high standards of performance.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers by telephone and written communication to collect on charged off accounts
Negotiating with customers for balance in full, settlements and/or payment plans to liquidate balances through effective selling of recovery tools.
Exhibit effective skip-tracing techniques when applicable
Provide thorough and accurate documentation to accounts
Maintain superior quality assurance results
Servicing accounts by investigating problems and finding resolutions to create a positive customer experience.
Verify recent activity with customers in order to detect possible fraud on accounts.
Conducts extensive customer interaction via inbound and outbound calls in both a ''dialer'' and manual environment.
Updates account information and complete appropriate documentation.
Ideal candidates must possess strong problem solving and negotiations skills, desire to exceed challenging goals, be self motivated and able to demonstrate personal initiative in a effort to achieve high standards of performance.Must be adaptable to change, flexible and demonstrate persuasive communication and organizational skills.

Experience
Basic Qualifications:
High Schools Diploma or GED or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year collections and or sales experience required
Minimum 1 year experience recovering on Charge Off debt
Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to work in a fast paced ever changing work environment
Ability to effectively prioritize work and multi-task
Superior communication skills
Schedule flexibility a must
Must be able to manage constructive criticism in a positive manner
